A Fundamentals Clinic Changed My Life

“This whole experience was beyond incredible. I feel like a “real rider” now (again?). It was very healing for the bits that were left over from the accident. I feel leaps and bounds more confident than I have been. This was an enormously positive experience, and I cannot wait to continue on this journey. Thank you so much for your part in all of this, and I just love all of the staff. Clinton truly has an eye for great people, and has impressed me with how gifted he really is — in his riding skills and in his observational and thought process. Wow! Truly an inspiration. This whole experience will be on my mind for quite some time, processing all of the info and fun.”

That’s a note from Erin Glassman, a horsewoman who participated in a Fundamentals Clinic taught by Clinton with her Arabian mare, Rio. At Fundamentals Clinics, Clinton focuses on teaching horsemen the first level of his method of horsemanship. He teaches groundwork and riding exercises that are designed to earn a horse’s respect and trust and help humans learn to be good leaders for their horses. When he has participants begin the riding exercises, Clinton’s first priority is helping everyone learn how to gain control of their horses and feel confident in the saddle. The main focus of Fundamentals Clinics is getting results safely.

Clinton is instructing 12 Fundamentals Clinics in 2016, 11 of the clinics will be three-day courses held at facilities around the country and one clinic will be a 10-day course held at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch in Stephenville, Texas. Spectators are invited to attend all three-day clinics held on the road.
