We Want to Support Your Cause in Iowa

At every Walkabout Tour stop, we’re proud to partner with our featured sponsor, Ritchie Industries, to spotlight a local non-profit through our Ritchie Charity Ball Toss. This initiative has become a highlight of the tour and a fun way for our community of horsemen to give back.

Here’s how it works: We team up with a non-profit organization local to each tour stop to serve as our Ritchie Charity Group. Throughout the weekend, the group sells numbered tennis balls to attendees. All proceeds from the sales go directly to the non-profit to help support their mission. It’s one of Clinton’s favorite ways to connect with and give back to the communities we visit—and one of the most anticipated events at every tour.

The fun really kicks off midday Sunday when audience members throw their purchased tennis balls into the arena, aiming to land closest to a stake positioned in the center. The owners of the three balls nearest the stake take home a prize package of Clinton’s instructional videos and Downunder Horsemanship training tools.

If your non-profit organization is involved with horses and located near Waterloo, Iowa, we encourage you to apply to be the event’s Ritchie group. It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness, generate funding and be a part of the excitement of the Walkabout Tour.

We’ll be in Waterloo, Iowa, September 6 and 7 at the National Cattle Congress Fairground.

To learn more and submit your application, visit our website and head to the Ritchie Charity Ball Toss section. We’re looking forward to working together to make a difference!
